Background
After apprenticeship and work as a banker at Dresdner Bank Düsseldorf, Clemens Rogge studied law in Münster and Nijmegen with focus on commercial and corporate law. He obtained a J.D. in company group law. As a lawyer, Clemens Rogge worked 15 years in large law firms, firstly as associate, then many years as partner, with focus on corporate law and international M&A transactions.
In 2010 he formed the law firm Reiners Rogge. Jointly with several of his partners he formed in 2015 the new firm Schmidt Rogge Thoma Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB, which is an LLP under German law, and became simultaneously part of Schindhelm.

Dr. Clemens Rogge advises and represents companies and individuals in corporate, employment and commercial law. He works predominantly in international mandates. He consults permanently foreign group parent companies in the legal matters of their German subsidiaries. He has significant experience from numerous M&A transactions and joint ventures.
Core working areas have been complex due diligence examinations, drafting and negotiating transactions, as well as the accompanying of owner families in the succession or sale of their businesses. Apart of such project work, employment, agency, dealership and other distribution law, as well as competition law have been his main working areas for more than 20 years.
